It was wonderful to be back with the kids in Target after I was out last week!
Divergent Thinking:
We worked on a transformation "Squiggle Story" to use our creative thinking skills. The children also had the opportunity to share their creations with their classmates. Such wonderful ideas!
Convergent Thinking:
We used our logical thinking skills and visual-spatial intelligence to solve "Ring Challenges"-Sorting shapes by attributes. This is a skill that we will be building on for the rest of this year.
Self-Reflection:
We learned about our Multiple Intelligences or Ways that we're smart. We used a poster called "If the Shoe fits..."
Here is a chart with the Ways We Are Smart:

Algebraic Thinking:
We worked on the concept of Value and Variable today during our math time. This is another concept we will be building on over the rest of the semester.
HW: Predict your one or two strongest Multiple Intelligences are using the chart or the Shoe Poster. You may draw or write your choices.
Until next week,
Mrs. Kraeger
