We continued our work with Frogs today. First, we labeled the digestive system and then talked about what each of the parts does. The kids were highly engaged and asked some GREAT questions about different digestive processes. They might even want you to serve asparagus soon to conduct a little experiment!
Our stations focused on convergent thinking with two very different, equally challenging logic puzzles. A few students finished their puzzles in time to work on our creative problem solving STEM activity, "Frog Invention". Since we didn't all work on this, it will continue next week. We worked with Mrs. Kindschy again to learn about effective web searching techniques. The kids were pretty surprised to find out how Google really works, and why it may not be the best place to start a search! We missed our recess time today because of too much time off task with talking and not working efficiently. I know the class can do better on this next week. HW: Document 3-5 sources on your references sheet
