Unit Study:
The kids watched "Water Princess" to see details about how lack of clean water impacts children's lives. Then they used Jigsaw Learning to learn more about the need for Sanitation and its impact on the world. The kids read their part of the article and shared their learning in small groups. We discussed how poor sanitation impact children the most causing many deaths worldwide.
The kids continued their Country research.
Affective Skills:
We learned a bit about strengths and weaknesses and how our "Amazing Brains" can help us do so many things!
Algebraic Thinking:
We used our critical and math thinking skills to solve a variety of mixed problems. The kids will finish this in class on Friday.
We stretched our convergent thinking with a Cryptogram. It was pretty challenging! The kids used their divergent thinking skills to transform a key into something else. Can't wait to see their creativity!
Novel Study:
We read a bit more of our novel, Front Desk. The kids are excited to see what comes next!
