Affective Skills:
We read a lovely book, Dream-A Tale of Wonder, Wisdom, and Wishes that shows how dreams change over a lifetime. The kids will be writing their own dream poems and creating artwork to go with them, as if they were creating another page in the book.
Algebraic Thinking:
We moved ahead on our Hands on Equations to tackle two new lessons. The kids were up to the challenge!
Unit Study:
We continued our Genius Hour research. The last day to work on Genius Hour Projects in class will be March 18th. Students will begin sharing Projects March 25th and continue with a few each class until all have been shared.
Novel Study:
Our book is getting exciting as Ellie learns more about science and herself! The kids enjoyed the challenge of a Kahoot and then got a turn to create their own Kahoot questions!
Stations:
There was so much divergent thinking on the 14th Goldfish F2OE! The kids are so good at creating interesting and original solutions to the challenges presented! They also gave their convergent thinking skills a workout with a choice of a Grid-style puzzle or a Perplexor.
