We had a very "FROGGY" day! Here's a run-down of the day's activities and what's coming up!
We took our Frog Test. Most did very well, meeting the cut-off of 20/25 correct needed to attend the Dissection Field Trip. A few have to study a bit more and take a requiz. Students may stop in to any of the Target rooms in the morning before announcements to retake the quiz. If that's not convenient, a retest will be offered on Thursday in class. We finished our presentations, and boy were they great! I was amazed at the variety of project formats and at the incredible depth of knowledge displayed. Way to go Fifth Graders! I have successfully uploaded almost all the Frog Posters and the project links for our "Frog Gallery". This is an augmented reality experience powered by the app, Aurasma. I'll send an email on Thursday with directions on how parents can visit the Target Hall and view our "Frog Gallery". Don't forget that we'll be doing a "Pop & Read" on May 8th. The kids will get to enjoy more of our novel and perhaps read a book of their choice as well. It should be a fun, relaxing time! HW: Return Field Trip permission slip. Bring a "Pop-Top" drink for our "Pop & Read" on May 8th. Unhappy to be almost done with my wonderful 5th graders! Mrs. Kraeger
