Genius Hour Project Time was very productive! The kids were immersed in finishing their Genius Hour Projects. I was able to conference with each student/group to confirm readiness for presentations next week. It was very exciting to see their progress and hear about what they will present! I can't wait for next week's presentations!
Algebraic Thinking:
Hands-On-Equations has turned into a happily messy, busy workshop of algebra learning! The kids are moving along at their own rate--amazing me with their tremendous algebraic thinking!
Convergent & Divergent Thinking:
The Station Rotation was right on track! We continued our work on logic puzzles for convergent thinking. We worked on close reading with our novel, Operation Yes!.
Novel Study:
We continued our reading of Operation Yes! Gari had the worst first day of school EVER, and Bo ended up in BIG trouble. Plus, Bo found out his dad might be stationed in Afghanistan for a year! Yikes! Gari is planning something big, but we don't know what yet!
HW: Prepare for you Project Presentation next week: 8-10am!
Can't wait for next week,
Mrs. Kraeger
