What an unexpectedly exciting day! It started off in an unremarkable way, since many of the kids were tired and uncharacteristically quiet after their three days at Jekyll Island. They soon made an unlikely turn around when we chose our frogs to research! The room was filled with the unmistakeable sounds of enthusiasm for learning! That initial burst of energy was short-lived as the fatigue crept back in.
Next, we embarked on a creative problem solving activity to see if we could wake up our unresponsive divergent thinking skills. The kids came up with some uncommon & unusual ideas! Can't wait to take a look at them! We also worked some more on our Focus study about Frogs by watching a video--" A Fight for Frogs". I've linked it on our Frog Research Page on the Target Glog. Finally, we jumped into some unexplored territory by creating our student accounts on Edmodo. The kids showed unbridled enthusiasm for our new tool by immediately posting group messages and answering the first poll. Check it out for yourself by creating a Parent Account. HW: Google Doc on Media Center-Class Project tab. Due in two weeks! Unbearably thinking of missing you next week,
