Algebraic Thinking:
We used our critical, algebraic, and divergent thinking to create holiday mystery pictures using ordered pairs. The results are gorgeous!
We really stretched our convergent and evaluative thinking skills with a fantastic session from Kids' Chess. The kids LOVED it! Look for the Kids' Chess flyer coming home.
Unit Study:
We finished our forensic stations, entered our data, evaluated all the information and came to conclusions about our Crime Scene Mystery. The kids determined that the four suspects must have worked together because all were implicated by the available evidence.
We finished our mystery novel, Keepers of the School-We the Children. The mystery wasn't solved yet, but good news--there are more in this series! Check them out at our Media Center!
Stations:
We stretched our convergent thinking skills with jigsaw puzzles, a cool puzzle that Colton brought in, and some origami.
We'll begin Target again on Tuesday, January 18th. Please join us for our Parent Target Open House-Spring Semester on Wednesday, January 19th from 7:20-8am in the Media Center.
Have a wonderful Break and a joyous New Year!
