Unit Study:
We used our convergent thinking skills to complete 2 lessons on Code.org. These lessons focused on using loops to simplify programming. The kids learned how to upload a photo of their completed assessment to Edmodo.
Affective Skills:
We summoned all our creativity and diligence to invent something from an empty toilet paper roll. The results were interesting and very clever!
We continued our mindfulness practice with Calm Down & Release the Amygdala. This helps us with ways to stop our brains from getting caught up in the flight or fight response, so we can really think about things.
Algebraic Thinking:
Our algebraic thinking helped us use Legal Moves to help us solve more complicated equations today. The kids are doing a fantastic job solving equations, checking their answers, and using our legal moves.
Novel Study:
We continued reading our novel, House of Robots. We tried a new type of Kahoot-the Jumble. It was a bit glitchy, so we'll try it again next week to get the hang of it!
