Unit Study:
We continued our coding with practice on Artist Loops. The kids were definitely challenged by this level, but were so excited when they coded each puzzle correctly! They put their Robots through "Night Surveillance" in Mission 3. It was fun to see the Robot lights go on in the darkened room.
Novel Study:
We read chapters 27-29 and found out that Sammy's Mom skipped the Notre Dame football game. Wonder why?
Algebraic Thinking:
The kids worked on Math Multiples today. The Mosaic patterns they created were gorgeous! Imagine, 3rd graders learning about common multiples! Whew! That's a big challenge!
Stations:
The kids challenged their logical thinking with either a Perplexor or a grid-style logic puzzle. They also finished creating their Weighty Word for Ubiquitous or Vacillate. Our Visual Vocabulary Wall is looking AMAZING!
No Homework-Enjoy your February Break!
We will not have Target class on Tuesday, February 23rd because of CogAT testing.
Until next time,
