Wow! We had so much fun today with our learning!
Unit Study:
We used our evaluative thinking to categorize clothing items from Modern Day, Renaissance Times or both. The kids did a great job with these Venn Diagrams! Then we used our divergent thinking and collaboration to create Renaissance outfits with a partner. They are so creative! Love the details!
We learned a "Good Morning" song, "Ciao, Buon Giorno". The kids learn so quickly! We researched Pisa and learned about the leaning Touwer of Pisa. Then, the kids used their divergent thinking to color daVinci masterpieces taped under the tables. The kids learned how Michelangelo painted the Sisteen Chapel while on his back. Take a look at our Target Museum!
Algebraic Thinking:
We started a Math Mystery Picture using ordered pairs. The kids will finish that next week. We also practiced Time to the Half Hour again. They are pretty solid on it now!
We also started our Shoe-Tying Contest. A few kids earned a prize today! We'll continue this next week, so more kids can have a chance!
Until next time,
Dr. Kraeger
