The kids worked SO hard today!  We really enjoyed seeing each others' creativity on our Super Hero Comics today.  I was impressed by the humor and creativity I saw in the Comics!

Unit Study:
The kids continued working on their Perspective Projects.  Many are making excellent progress to be ready to present their projects on December 10th.  We will have another extended Project Work Time in class on December 3rd.  Depending upon how much progress the kids make in the next class, they may need to do some work at home to be ready for December 10th.

Algebraic Thinking:
We continued working in our Hands On Equations groups to master new concepts as we solve more challenging equations.  

Novel Study:
We did some independent reading with a critical thinking reflective response.  Later, we read a couple more chapters of our book while challenging our higher level thinking skills with a Kahoot game.  

No Homework, except to catch up on any unfinished Seesaw assignments.

Unit Study:
We discussed our Perspective Project, sharing Project Choices, Rubric, and Due Date.  We'll have extended in class Project time for the next two Target Days.  The Projects will be shared on December 10th.  

Algebraic Thinking:
We continued our Hands On Equations with Lesson 12 and a review of Lesson 11.  They are rolling along!  Great work today.  

Affective/Divergent:
We worked to finish up our Super Hero Comic.  We'll be sharing these "Gallery Style" next week.

Novel Study:
We read another chapter.  The kids enjoyed our Kahoot game to challenge their critical thinking.

HW:  Finish Super Hero Comic

We had a super day of learning in Target!

Stations:
We stretched our convergent thinking skills with a cryptogram.  The kids enjoyed the different format!  We also worked with our divergent skills by creating our Super Hero comics.

Unit Study:
We researched our topics and held our mini-Debates.  The kids enjoyed the experiences, in spite of a few nervous moments when it was their turn to share information.  The experienced the power of perspective first hand!  

Algebraic Thinking:
We finished our Lesson 11 for Hands On Equations.  We'll continue with the next lesson next week.

Novel Study:
We read a couple more chapters of our novel.  The kids enjoyed challenging their critical thinking skills with a game of Kahoot!
