Algebraic Thinking:
We ventured further into Word Problems and some Hands On Equations lessons. The kids are starting to get the hang of the word problems. We'll finish those next week, and then focus more on Hands On Equations.
Convergent thinking:
We challenged our logical thinking skills with a Venn Perplexor. Funny how a year makes all the difference in the ability to figure out these puzzles! The kids found it SO easy this time around! Means I need to get a more challenging book!
Novel Study:
We read a bit more of our book, finding out about Gari's Plan B. Then we used Evaluative Thinking to determine which consequence we would rather have.
Unit Study:
We worked more on our Genius Hour Projects. The kids will have one more class period (Target is Tuesday-next week) to work on their projects at school. Projects will be shared on Wednesday, March 18th.
Affective Skills:
The kids did an incredible job creating artwork to go with their dream poems. They will finish up their art and poems next week. Check out the photos of their amazing creations!
