Our day got off to a brilliant start with 5 Shakespeare Comedies performed by our talented 5th Graders. It was our own Shakespeare Playhouse, AKA-the PL Room at Chalker. The stage was set, the actors were ready, the costumes and props in place...ready, set, ACTION! The kids were absolutely fantastic! They were funny, clever, and so resourceful in making these modern day versions of Shakespeare's comedies their own! Mrs. Aruido and Ms. Bishop each joined us for a while and very much enjoyed the performances! I was enthralled as I watched and recorded each play. Mrs. Lobello enjoyed the show, adding some chuckles throughout! I'll be editing the plays to eliminate the pauses between scenes and will add links for your viewing through email, Remind, and Edmodo. I can't wait to see the finished products!
The rest of our day was filled with a Christmas Math Mystery, which we almost finished--trying to save Christmas from Elves gone crazy!
It was a wonderful semester for this group! Looking forward to a fantastic start to our new Year in January!
