This week we worked on divergent and convergent thinking with word puzzles, logic puzzles, and a fun elaboration piece! I hope you took a look at that work in the Target Binder.
Our algebraic thinking skills were reinforced through a Hands-On-Equations lesson where the children learned to use another legal move to solve for the unknown variable. They're able to solve equations like:
2x + 4=10. Pretty impressive for 9 year olds!
We kicked off our Novel Study with the first part of Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer. The students are really enjoying the book!
